This place is such a hidden gem, very local feeling, great food, amazing people and the nicest people. Stopped there to grab breakfast and will highly recommend anyone in the area that is looking for the same. Best part for me other than the food was the people since they make this place what it is. Even tho im not local i felt very welcome and will definitely come back when im around! THANK YOU!

The chef got me and my girlfriend Benidita the food quickly and it was sublime with portion and flavors. I had to ask who made it and they said a solo chef named Mason. He came out to speak to us and was very nice. Great customer service. You can tell he loves what he does. My girlfriend got a chicken fried steak, and I got a plain cheeseburger. It was cooked perfectly. Chicken had a nice crisp to it, and the gravy had a good flavor and consistency. Would highly recommend The Diner to anyone in the area.

Friendly servers, GREAT FOOD! French dip was amazing, side salad was good, curly fries excellent. Can't wait to go back and try something else.

Restaurant located within Swanson’s south side location it isn’t a high class restaurant with extravagant decor, however the food is real good and the service is great. Very friendly and each person appreciates every guest visiting them. My elderly mother had a hamburger and truly enjoyed and said she would come back again for it. I had the monte cristo and will surely have another, it was real good Thank you Team Picture is of half the sandwich

Our new favorite local secret place to stop for breakfast or lunch. Just about everything is made in house. Best biscuits n gravy in the harbor. Great chicken fried steak hashbrowns, omelettes, sandwiches, burgers. Great people that will greet you by name and feed ya the best home-cookin ya will find in town.

The Diner is a hidden gem…period, full stop! Small crew, so be prepared to wait. The food quality & portions are off-the-chart AMAZING, so well worth the wait!! The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed & has a home town feel. We’re making it a monthly (at least!) tradition!!

Absolutely fantastic, both in flavor and portions. Service was definitely above average and makes up for the meh atmosphere. My chicken fried steak had a light, crispy crust, was full of juicy flavor, and came w more hash browns than I could eat. The half order of biscuits and gravy had excellent gravy, fluffy biscuits, and my wife barely managed to eat half of it.I don't often give 5 stars, but this place was worth it.
